MidFirst Bank Reports Second Quarter Earnings of $70 Million

PHOENIX – MidFirst Bank, Arizona's largest privately held bank, reported $70 million in second quarter earnings compared to first quarter earnings of $57 million. The bank has added 176 new jobs and consumer checking deposits have increased by 28 percent over the past year. During the second quarter, MidFirst launched a free mobile banking application for iPhone and Android users. The app empowers customers to make deposits, pay bills and conduct other banking activities with their smartphone. More than 20,000 customers have downloaded the application.
